All of our items are synthetic stone (fake rocks). The core material is styrofoam, it is carved and hand shaped to the desired design and then coated and colored to look like natural stone. Certain items have steel support frames when needed ( benches, fire pits, etc.). Using synthetic stone has many advantages to natural rock. It is much more light weight, large projects can usually be carted in by two people where if it were natural stone it would require costly heavy equipment to place. Its more affordable, because you buy real rock by the ton the larger you project the more you can save. Using synthetic stone means we can design anything to fit anywhere. Because of this we can build onto existing natural stone waterfeatures and match the colors making it impossible to tell where the real rock ends and the fake rock begins.

A Very common question we get is "How durable is the material" or "how does it hold up to the weather". The material is very durable, we have waterfalls over 20 years old that are still in good shape. But whats great also about the material is if something ever does happen it is very easy to repair. Or if down the road you want it to look like the day it was installed we can come back for a quick refinish job. Bellow are two customers waterfalls over 13 years old we refinished returning them to what they looked like the day we installed them.
